What is carbon fiber strip?
Pultrusion process is one of the main production method making carbon fiber products. As you can see the photo below. Original carbon fiber yarns are going through special resin. Under this process, carbon fiber yarns are changed from dry status to wet status.
Secondly, wet carbon fiber yarns will go through the special tool under high temperature. Thirdly, once the temperature is lower, all resins are solidified. Then we will cut the long piece into required length.
Main applications of carbon fiber strips
Carbon fiber strips are made up by UD carbon fiber with resin. We can use special designed tools to shape the yarns into required designs. The carbon strips are used in lots of fields as below.
